Bear Valentine

This is a fun card I taught in my Copic Fun classes yesterday. The outside has a little hidden message you reveal when flap is lifted. And inside you see the whole message when you pull out the bear tab.

Supplies: all stamps Judith Stamps, paper daisy d;s, Copic markers, Hero Arts flower accent, May Arts ribbon, Momento black ink and versa pigment inks to distress edges.

St. Pats Card

Here is the other card I promised yesterday. I didn't have any stamps so I used paper. I punched out 3 hearts and just cut my own stem. Poof! A card. I used a border punch to frame the design and just cut the lengths needed to put around my rectangle.
Supplies: Tonic concave corner punch, EK Success border punch, heart punch, Hero Arts black gems, Fiskars paper, cardstocks.

I gave Dawn the left overs from yesterdays card and todays so you will also get to see another idea for each of these papers. How fun. The speedy chickaroo she is....she already had the red floral posted on her blog when I got up at 5:30. (I just gave her the leftovers yesterday)

Valentine

Here's a quick Valentine anyone can whip up. If you don't have a heart stamp....use a cuttlebug heart die or a heart shaped punch...short of that...cut out your own heart like we used to do in grade school. I changed over the entry table yesterday so needed to quick make some samples for the table. I will share a St. Pats one tomorrow.

Supplies: Making Memories vine paper, Northwoods stamp, Tim Holtz Fired Brick ink, CB emboss folder and nestabilites label die, Hero Arts gemstone.

Silver Rose

Time to start thinking of Valentines. Time just goes way too fast!

I used all metallic cardstocks on this one to give it an elegant look. I heat embossed the rose to tie in with the shimmer.I got the layout design off a card I saw on Splitcoast Stampers a few months ago and just tweaked it. I create my own 'sketches' from card ideas and have a tablet of sketches to refer to when I need to come up with a card idea quick. Its just like sketches for scrapbooking....just on a smaller scale.

Girl on the moon

I had fun yesterday trying to use a pink 8x11 sheet and a green 8x11 sheet and made 5 cards from those 2 sheets. This is one of the cards. The close up shows I stamped the dress on the patterned paper andcut out and attached over the colored image. The green/pink papers were cut into squares and then all glued together on a dark green cs to create the background.

These are the 5 cards I made out of 2 8x11 patterned cardstocks. The close ups and info on the tree and girl cards are in other posts. The heart one is just using the concentric Cuttlebug die. Dark Glorious green was thecardstock color used to match.

Dainty Tree

I am not normally a soft, feminine type of card maker but after working with these papers... I do like how they they turned out. You can see on the close up that I Cuttllebugged the green strip before laying the pretty ribbon over the top of it. I thought it just need a little extra texture.
