Wild About You

I had scraps from some past classes so I wanted to use them up. I made 2 of these cards to rid yet another 'pile' of stash. Its an endless battle but at least when you scrap and stamp....you have a much better chance of using your leftovers. (the photo does not show very well but it does have the same colors lightly in the flowers as the dotted paper) After you do a page.....get in the habit of doing a card right away. We always need cards and everything is already color coordinated.

Morning Coffee

Here is a hinge card I've recently taught in a class. The class was actually a 'One Sheet Wonder" class where 3 cards were made from 1 sheet of double sided paper. A few pop dots and a brad make the hinge part possible. The top lifts up to reveal your hidden message. Coffee, cats, kids and crafts.........that pretty much covers it for me =)

Kitty Love

The layout on this one is sooo simple but I love the results. One of my 3 cats at home is a big, overly fluffy, soft and white pawed cat. He is literally my shadow and appropriately named. I tend to color my inked cats along the lines of my own cats. The gray one in previous post is after Simba. Any hoo... I let the beautiful papers do the work. With all the companies making coordinating lines...all you have to do is grab a few of your favorites and then create!

Paper: My Minds Eye

Stamp: Great Impressions,

Tombow markers, Hero Arts gemstones, Amuse ribbon

Coming up Kitties

I need to get some cats on the blog. Whats a blog without a cat? You can tell by all the samples of cards in the store that we all love the Cuttlebug here. And this one is also using the Swiss Dots and then I lightly sanded over the embossed dots. And the orange strip is using one of the borders. The stamp is from "Great Impressions".

Birthday Card

This was the B-day card I mentioned yesterday that is the same but different theme. All you do is change your stamp and maybe a few embellies. You can take this same layout and recreate it with a zillion different papers and just as many different stamps and it will look different for every single one. So think outside of the box ladies.

"Amuse" Card

This card was one I taught in last nights class. The stamp is one of the new releases from "Amuse". I had done one with a birthday theme and exact same papers and layout so everyone can see how you can just change the stamp to get a totally different look.

Papers: My Minds Eye. Swiss Dots Cuttlebug embossing folder, Fiskars border punch, Copic markers. ( RV13, E33, BG10, G21) Stickles and gems. Poof! A card.

Snowflake Card

The photo isn't very good on this but it is shimmer papers, very simple and turned out quite well. We have a 12 for $20 class coming up and I needed to use the snowflake sticker set so this is the result. the white part was Cuttlebugged using the Swiss Dots.

I was in Copic classes over the weekend for about 14 hours soaking up tons of knowledge to pass on to our customers. So be on the lookout for Copic 101 classes in Sept. I will be posting some cards soon with the copics as well. Stay tuned............
