Blessed my Life

Final card from the class I have been sharing. The frilly ribbon is actually a sticker. The flower is punched out of 3 different sizes of same design flower from patterned paper and then the petals were curled to give it dimension. We used a Copic marker to custom color the brad to match the card. (it was silver)

Supplies: Spellbinders, EK Success flower punches, Graphic 45 paper, ribbon stickers, brad, CS.

With Sympathy

Happy Thursday! This is another card from a class I taught. On this card they got to stamp the various
flower images and on the one I had them stamp twice without reinking so they got a darker image and then a
lighter image to add depth to their card. A very quick and easy card but oh so elegant. Not all cards and pages have to takes hours to make.

Don't forget to stop by today from 11-1 for our weekly free make-n-take. Todays is a winter treat bag to finish off our Christmas in July. They would make perfect gifts for teachers, babysitters, etc. Just change up
the papers for any theme.

Supplies: Spellbinders dies, Hero Arts stamp set, Tim Holtz Distress inks, pearls, Graphic 45 paper, ribbon, CS.

Soft Butterfly

Sorry...I am way behind on my blog. Lots happening in the store that require my attention. And being gone a week to CHA doesn't allow much time for the blog either.  This was from a class I taught here at Picture This. The gals loved learning the technique of inking your Cuttlebug folder and running it through to get the inked image within your emboss design. It is very easy to do. I recommend pigment inks or Tim Holtz Distress inks since they will clean right off your floders easily.

Thanks to everyone who has been dropping off cards for the military. There is still time to drop off...deadline is July 31st.

I hope you have been taking advantage of our Dog Days of Summer Event and have been accumulating lots of Paw Points. August 7th is Paw Redemption Day and you will want points to spend that day!! It will be a fun day to end the 2 month long event.

Supplies: Cuttlebug folder, MS butterfly punch, Spellbinders foilage die, Versacolor sage ink, pearls, May Arts ribbon, CS.

CHA Summer

Hi! I hope everyone is staying cool back home. It is hot and humid in Chicago too. Paula, Dawn and I had a great Crafter Mania Sat-Sun.  Now anyone who knows me knows I can barely sit still 2 seconds. Our events were 12 hours each day! I did well thought because we were being shown all the awesome product so it kept me on the edge of my seat. lol
I picked up a new stamp company I am excited about and know many of you will love as well. We have so many surprises in store for you. It will kill me to keep hush hush.
I can say Picture This will once again get some Spellbinders dies exclusive for 60 days!!!!
I had a class this morning with Tim Holtz, Claudine Hellmuth and Jenni Bowlin and got to get hands-on with some of their new products being released at show. Very cool stuff!  Tim is releasing a ton of new things.

Tonight we have a Golden Ticket to a Moxxie Event and we love their papers. I usually order their complete lines all the time since it is what I know will also be popular with you.

I can not find my camera cord so sorry I can post my class project yet. All 3 of us will be trying to update blogs and FB when we can. Be sure to be checking those out. Found it!!!  Do you see Cosmo helped create?

Zedonk

Happy Monday!! Hope everyone is enjoying their summer. We took a quick overnight trip up north last weekend. We hit my favorite spot in Hayward on the way up to Duluth. I love the Wilderness Park in Hayward. Best time to get there is right at opening so all the deer are there to feed and pet.  Lets see...we got to pet deer, bunnies, baby fox, baby goats, Zedonk and a camel.  The Zedonk (also called a Zonkey)  is a mixture of a zebra and a donkey. Don't know that I had ever seen one before. I was amazed we were able to pet the camel. The like triangle part on upper nose is soooo soft. Only thing that would have been better was to touch the tiger!!
