Giddy Up

And a couple more of the same paper.
The cute little wagon wheel is Cheery Lynn and in stock at PT.
Showing how I cut the middles out from the mattings.
I do not glue the fence or anything that overlaps where the photo would go so the photos can still be tucked in where they need to go. So this fence is only glued toward the bottom and not the top part.
And if there is white showing and I don't want it to..............I use inks to ink the edges to hide the white. I love the VersaColors......I believe I have near every color and they all get used.

Family

There was only 3 sheets of this paper left so time to turn them into pages for sale.
Here I used a Cheery Lynn heart diecut and twigs to add a little extra.

Felt Flowers

We had some Basic Grey felt flower sets that needed to go so I assembled them on pages for sale. The bright citrus colors worked well with the bottom paper....in person the color do work together.
I added a trail of pearls to the butterfly and colored them light pink with my Copics to match the pink strip in the bottom paper.
And finally I gently inked the edges of the white photo matting with a matching ink. I do this a lot on cards and pages. Its all in the details peeps.

Boys Layout

Here is another quick page sample for the store and I made one for sale right away too sign you get 2 halfs of the decorative edge paper. You, however, could do a 2 page layout for your scrapbooks at home. We have all the product available.
I cut the toys paper slightly smaller and mounted it on a golden cardstock to add a little extra visual interest. And by cutting the center out....I was able to use that for the matting on the 2 photo mats.
Add some twine and stars and poof! A page.

Hen & Chicks

Every year around my grandma's birthday I give out hen and chicks in memory of her. Still miss her dearly. But nice knowing I am sprinkling her love all over.
When she gave me mine I planted them ALL over my yard in various flower beds so at least some would survive. Ha! They all thrived! Full sun, shade, sand, planters ... Everywhere. And they multiply like bunnies. Each year people bring photos of how theirs are from the year before. I love it.

Peaceful Snow

Flower Soft was used on the tree die to look like snow.

And one without the snow so you can see it is just as pretty. Love the ideas on our store blogs then please comment so we know its appreciated.  Have a creative day!!

Floral window

Here is a bright card sure to cheer someone up from a class I taught last week....or the week before....time flies too fast! It was a Kittie C. inspired class. I love her designs.
Naturally I added a cat to mine =)
And one without shutters. Pretty either way.

Another sample for the store. Easy peasy.

Over the Hill

The color did not show on this at all. It is actually a pretty tealish. I inked the diecut with a matching sage and gray to tie it all together. And then looped the string and glued it in spots where I wanted the loops to stay. Another quick sample for the store. The diecut is one of over 1000 different ones we sell at Picture This.

Bob

This was a joint effort. I believe Dawn made the diecuts for this page. Amy supplied the photo of a mischievous cat, Paula came up with the title and I created the page. We have a lot of the spaceship paper so wanted a sample for the store to get customers thinking outside the box.

Lots of Cards

We always have lots of 'parts' left over after classes, make-n-takes, samples...etc. So I tried eliminating a lot of the leftover pieces from a recently taught class so my pile wouldn't be quite so big. It is always fun to see different variations of the same design so enjoy!

Here I layered the same diecut and pop dotted it.
The tulips are a Susan Louise paper pic. She is a local artist from by Madison and we carry her
clear acetates and her paper pics.
                                                   Same sketch....2 totally different looks.

The Graduate

My youngest graduated last year but I still have hardly any made into pages. When you own a scrapbook store.... you do not get time to do your own.

Too cute to Spook

Yup...Halloween. I have already had to start pre-ordering it so might as well start to work on samples for the store. This year is flying by so fast anyway...it'll be here in a blink of an eye.  The cute title is made by my talented staff at Picture This.
And I had Lisa cute me some smaller ones for fillers on this page. One will be a sample and 2 are hitting the floor as pages for sale. Get them before they are gone!!

Pretty Kitty

I saw a page done with a huge banner and loved the look so I created a sample for the store with papers we had available. Isn't the kitty sweet?
I added some butterflies right to the photo.
Here is showing prior to assembly.....I always cut out the section that gets hidden anyway. Keeps the weight of my albums down since I love love love to embellish when it is a page for my personal albums.

Spring fling with wings

This pretty paper came in a few weeks ago and I could hardly wait to make a quick page with it. Scrapbooking does not have to take hours and hours. There is sooooo many beautiful papers available that do the work for you. We have over 6000 papers to choose from at Picture This. Yes!!  A paper crafters paradise. And we appreciate each and everyone who shops local and not on-line.
I cut flowers to coordinate with the page and added a Candi dot to the center.

Dragonfly

A page made from all leftover pieces from other projects. Don't you just love when you can get some of your scraps out of your way? I know I do but sadly, they accumulate at the store quicker then we can ever get them all used up. Now if I had 100 designers....then it'd be a different story.
I lightly inked the tips of the dragonfly wings with a matching ink to make it pop off the page.  The doily and dragonfly dies are both by Cheery Lynn. We have a huge selection of Cheery Lynn dies in the store.

Shadow Box Effect

I saw a sketch for this card and altered to a fern die we had available at PT. the top is popped up so it gives a shadow box look. Love how it turned out.
And now I am done sharing all my Georgia peach cards. I don't want to see peach for awhile now. Ha.

Dragonfly

I love the color combos on this card.  And the dragonfly was a die from a new set from Cheery Lynn that we just had to try out here at Picture This. The hummingbirds from the set are being used on one of our weekly make-n-takes. The die set has all sorts of fun winged things on it.

Silouette

The floral part is actually cut out of this and used on the inside of another card from the same class. So remember to use both your possitives and your negatives of your dies.....more for your money gals! The pearls were custom colored with Copics to match the card.

Butterflies and Bricks

This is a very pretty die by memory Box. You see the butterflies cut and used separate all over the blogosphere. I inked the brick embossed wall to distress it some.

A quick and simple card that would brighten anyones day who received it. The cute little bird is a Judith stamp. We carry a huge selection of Judith stamps at Picture This and have them exclusive Eau Claire, WI.
Her stamps are the ones that got me hooked on stamping.

Happy Birthday to me

Ha! Amazingly enough I have a birthday card to share on my own b-day.   This is another card from my Georgia peach class.
I used tulle along with the dies to give it another layer. Love how they look when I add the tulle.

Sending a hug...

I had recently done 2 Georgia Peach classes......6 cards with 'peach' as the main color. This was my favorite from the 6. The new Black Eyed Susan flower die by Cheery Lynn is my newest addiction. So you'll see it used a lot by me in store samples until my next favorite comes along.

Here is a close up of this awesome flower. I lightly inked the tips of the petals for a softer touch. The dies are in stock and ready to ship. Or better yet! Come on in and check out our huge selection of dies and feel good knowing you are shopping local.
