Wonder

This paper has been around for awhile and there were only 8 sheets left so I made a 2 page sample since that often is all it takes to move something.
The 'wonder' rhinestones come packaged that way. we actually have several throughout the store with different themes. They are a nice accent piece when you don't want to mess with making or thinking of one.

ahh-nouncing!

Just making a quick sample for the store.
I used my paper piercer to do the holes around the image. I believe there is still 1-2 of both of these stamps left in stock.  Cute way to announce you are expecting.

Pretty Posies

This paper arrived and I love the color combo's so I had to make a sample and with the opposites that were cut off to create ... I made a second page.  So there was hardly any left over pieces and isn't that awesome!?   The flowers and buttons were off our Buffet table where you can buy them single. Once again....only having to get what you need.
The swirl diecut is a Cheery Lynn die available at Picture This along with the papers, flowers and buttons.

Flower bed 2014

Yesterday I got to work in my flower beds a little after work. I used to love all of them and keep them weed free. Not so much anymore since I am at the store/retreat more than I am home. This is one of my back flower beds.

You made my day!

This was my favorite in a class I taught last week.  If you are not a card maker.....it doesn't matter gals. Hop into a class because you will learn something to use on your pages. The rectangle with the flowers would make a beautiful accent for your page.
And the inside is just a pretty as the outside. This is one of the newer dies by Cheery Lynn and I had passed on it when I ordered the new release. But once I saw it on a blog....yup! Had to have it. Love it!

Susan Louise Tulips

The tulips are a paper pic from Susan Louise. She is an artist down by Madison. We were lucky to have her here teaching a class earlier this year. I taught a class last week showing my gals how to get the 'speckled' effect. So easy and yet so eye catching.
The cute delicate chain is Memory Box and the butterfly is Cheery Lynn.

Beautiful Daisies

I had fun with the new chicken wire die from Cheery Lynn. All dies shown are CL and in-stock today at Picture This. We ship out all the time too if you ever see something you gotta have and are not making the trip to the store in the near future.
I used Flower Soft for the centers of the daisies. And inked the flowers lightly with a soft yellow prior to adding the Flower Soft.

Black Eyed Susan Cheery Lynn die

Love love love this new die by cheery Lynn. It is my fav at the moment!  And ever so easy to do as well. Yes, you will have to mail in a padded envelope if you send through the USPS. But a lot of us hand deliver most of our cards. Can't wait to use this flower on a page.
All dies used on this card are Cheery Lynn and available at Picture This =)

Happy Birthday

Another card from the one sheet class.....this is using the backside. Dies used this time are My Favorite Things and Elizabeth Craft Design dies.  We sell buttons in singles at Picture This. We have a buffet table where many items are single. Come check it out!

Bird on a Branch

I taught a couple classes this past week where you take one 12x12 sheet and they created 5 cards. This is one of the cards. I'll only be sharing 3 on my blog. Four got turned into a card kit after all the classes were held. Memory Box and Cheery Lynn dies were used to make this lovely card.

Have a wonderfully crafty week and visit your local scrapbook stores for more inspiration. Without customers.....they can not survive.

Flew the coop

I'd like to fly the coop some days. ha.   We have these cute stamps at the store and now with the
chicken wire background die....it makes the combo too cute to resist. So here is your inspiration for the day! Thanks for visiting.

wish

I discovered this pretty paper while doing some of the endless inventory. I had Lisa create the 'wish' diecut and used one of the new dies from Cheery Lynn and poof! A page.

Thanks for visiting! Have a wonderful crafty week!!

1st Day of School

Love the vellum quotes by Quick Quotes. How many of you got teary eyed the 1st day your child left for school? I know I did with both of my boys.

Our Wedding Day

Busy making new samples for the store and pages for sale. We have a lot of this pretty rose paper so why not create a sample to inspire our wonderful customers?  The inside mattings are from cutting the center out of the base one. I do that often. Then I didn't have to use 2 full sheets of the same paper.
I love the bow tie ribbon....it worked perfect for this page!

Old Letters

Since I have to cut the card stock for matting photos..........I might as well do 2 pages at a time. If it was for personal use.....then I'd be doing a 2 page layout. But since one was meant as a sample for the store....the other will be a page for sale.
I used inks to muddy up the vellum to match it to the vintage, shabby chic look.
On this page I let the pretty Bo Bunny paper show through the vellum quote instead of mounting it on cardstock.

Memories

One sheet of paper ......just done slightly different 3 times. There was only 3 sheets left so I did
pages for sale. Several of mine from last week already sold so I was up to the store all weekend working on odds and ends.
The flowers edges were inked with matching ink to soften them.

We carry a lot of the vellum quotes by Quick Quotes. As I have mentioned before, most are tear jerkers to read. But they add so much to those special pages. We have them covering many topics.  They work well on other projects besides just pages too.

2014

I had some of this paper left over from the previous pages so I took it home and fussy-cut out the bulbs. (it would never get done at the store if I tried to find time to do so)  Then I just finished it off quick when I got back to work. Poof!  A page.   Now mind you, pages for sale take me way less time to create then my own. I spend hours on a page of my own since I love love love layering. As everyone knows who takes my card classes as well.
Here you can see the ornaments pop dotted. We sell these super thin pop dots at Picture This and I like using them on my pages so there isn't quite so much dimension as a regular pop dot.

Brrrr

Couple more pages from one sticker sheet I was using up. Everyone should have some brrrrrr photos to add to this page after our long winter in Wisconsin this past year. Don't you find you are scrapbooking opposite the seasons?

Cold

Working on more pages-for-sale. We had a sticker sheet left that no one wanted so I took pity on it and used it to make several pages. Why is it when the paper or stickers get down to just one...no one wants it? Craziness.

Another Bug

Same paper..........different design.  Once again I used diecuts I had on hand. They were odds and ends left over from previous projects so I just threw a bunch of twigs and foliage on it to fill in around the snail I fussy cut. Then pop dotted the snail.

Bugs

Here's a cute paper that came in last week and all the month of June we are doing Pinteresting ideas at the store. I saw a page done with this once so I just altered to things I had on hand.

Cherry Blossom

This is the same paper as the day before but done in a different design. Most of the dies used yesterday and today are Cheery Lynn. The branch is a Spellbinder and is actually called Cherry Blossom.

Page in Progress

I used the Tim Holtz distresser tool to shred the edges. Gives it a shabby chic quality. And you will notice I cut the centers our of all my mattings. This save weight in your scrapbook and I don't have to buy an entire other sheet for my accents. All the flowers were cut from the inserts.
I wanted the branch to stay up in spots for a more dimensional look so I put half a pop dot under the area I wanted to stay raised.
I do my flower assembly on the splat mat. That way it doesn't matter that the excess glue will stick to something it shouldn't. Then when you are ready you just peel off the mat and scrap the dried glue into the trash.
And poof! You have a pretty page. Tomorrows post will be same papers/flowers....different design.
