Sunflower

I got a few pages created Memorial Day. I  decided not to do anything for the store and just create what I
wanted for a change. This was photos of my youngest son from several years ago. I will have one done for his graduation next year. lol.  I had fun playing with dies and all the pages I completed used several dies. They really do add a lot to your cards and pages.   The sunflower was matter and pop-dotted onto another set of matting for a more dramatic look. (can't see the effect here)  The paper is a We R Memories and the dies are Spellbinders and My Favorite Things.sd

My Aunts

I have had these photos for a few years and am finally getting around to scrap them.  We were at a graduation and I pointed out that I had no photos at all with any of them so I made them all pose. (and I hate my photo taken)  There were such vibrant colors in the photos between the various clothing, ballons and background that it took a special paper to pull it all together. I found this one by Bo Bunny with all the colors in so it pulled it all together. And I played with the new Cheery Lynn dragonfly die dand added to of them near the title.

Angry Bird

My sister had posted these adorable photos on facebook earlier this year. I told her I HAD to have
these photos of my newphew to scrap.  So she popped in the store one day to give me copies. Isn't he just too darn cute? I made the Angry Bird from various circle dies and heart punches. The papers are Fancy Pants.

In Memory

As we thank and remember all of our military men and women, we also remember our loved ones we have lost.  I lost my grandma this past year and since I can not drive to Illinois to put flowers on her and grandpa's graves.....I came up with an idea to honor several of my lost dear ones. So I bought roses today for my son, brother and grandparents and placed a rose for each of them on my sons headstone.  Love and miss you all.

Really Tall

Happy Thurday.  These are photos taken a couple years ago of the field behind our house. My oldest son is over 6 feet tall so that shows you how tall the corn was that year. Really tall!!! And it is organic corn as well, which usually doesn't get that tall.

Hedgehog Heaven

Last night I taught a class at Picture This using a sheet of stickers of adorable hedgehogs. The students got to make 4 cards I designed and then still had plenty of stickers to go home and create even more cards or use the leftovers to decorate the inside of their cards and envelopes.
Lots of fun dies were used from Memory Box, Spellbinders and My Favorite Things. The punches are Martha Stewart and the papers are My Minds Eye.

The last two cards were also using My Minds Eye papers and various punches and dies.

Card Swap

Goodmorning. I did a card swap with Crafters Home featuring Cheery Lynn dies and here is the card I submitted. We will be doing one of a similiar version for our weekly make-n-take this coming week. And we just got a big shipment of more Cheery Lynn dies yesterday!!! I snatched several and plan to work with some of the new ones this weekend to create some upcoming classes.

Spring bird

These beautiful papers are from the Moxxie Easter collection this year. I reordered this line several times. I absolutely love the colors and patterns in the lines.  We needed a page sample for that section in the store so
I kept it simple again to get it done. The swirls are from a "My Favorite Things" die using the back of one of
the papers used since the teal matched.  I then punched some hydrangea cream flowers but inked the edges
in a matching peach color and custom colored the cream pearls with a Copic marker.

Got Game?

Just a quick page sample for the store. Everyone is trying to finish up their sports pages for their
seniors scrapbooks so here is a simple idea. I used the Spellbinder star die and pop dotted the one
on the top right. The glitter diecut paper is from Best Creations so the snazzy paper is doing all the
hard work.
