Copic Feathered Friend

I will share 2 versions of a feathered friend card I made. I did a close up so you can see how awesome Copic markers blend your colors. Love 'em!!   I added the leaf diecuts to this card from the Nesties. I love the fall season and usually do not get to make many cards for it as we are already working on Christmas cards. So I enjoyed playing with this new set from Just Rite.

Supplies: Copics, Just Rite, Spellbinders, Tim Holtz Distress inks, ribbons and papers.

Bird in Thistle

Icky rainy day here today.  This card is using the Just Rite bird set and various Spellbinders dies and Copics.

Magnolia has arrived!

Finally!!  The UPS man asked what we got from Sweden that we couldn't get here? I had to chuckle. Most all of our stamp companies are made right here in the US. But these are so darn cute....I had to order them in. The Christmas release of them should be shortly behind.  Shipping was a bit ridiculous though so I may not be reordering very much. So get them while you can.

Fab 5

We are featuring the Spellbinder Pendants all this week for our Fab 5. Due to lack of time (because we have so many things in the works for our fabulous customers) we are only doing a post a day by each of the Fab 5. But we did drag Amy and Lacey into it this time as guest designers for more ideas for you all. The Pendants are 40% off this week during Fab 5 and while supplies last.

I chose to use Rubber Stamp Tapestry on my project. The confined shape works great with them. They are peg stamps so very easy to work with and each is separate so you can make your bouquet of flowers several different colors. I pop-dotted the message for added demension and added some pearls for the final touch.

Supplies: Lattice Pendant, Floral Wreath RST stamps, sentiment and pearls from  Hero Arts, Chatterbox paper, Versa inks, CS.

Be sure to check Dawns blog out tomorrow and Paulas Friday for more ideas with Pendants. The NEW Spellbinders has started to arrive!! Loving them.

Guest Designer for Fab 5

Lacey is my guest designer today for the Fab 5.  We enlisted Lacey and Amy this time and Amy's card will be on Paula's post Friday.  Lacey used a pendant but then added Cuttlebug wedding emboss to it to finish the card along with a matching sheer ribbon. The metalic behind adds the extra punch to make it elegant.
Thanks Lacey for being part of this round of Fab 5.

Happy Fall Friend

It sure feels like fall here today.  Burrr. This card is one in my upcoming class. My students will get to play with the Judith Stubby stamps and then also play with the Copics. I Cuttlebugged the inside, inked the edges and then added a cut out leaf. I like the final results.

Happy Labor Day

Thought I posted this this morning and here it is still waiting to be posted. Ooops!
I had done this card for a kids class this past week but thought I'd share on blog anyway so you could see how you can use a white gel pen over your Copics and other markers. This was done with Tombows.

I have been busy creating at the store today so will have fun stuff to post.
Supplies: Inkadinado stamp set, Tombow markers, Momento ink, White gel pen, patterned paper and CS.
