Shasta Daisy by Cheery Lynn

This is a card from a class I taught this past week. The tips are inked with Versacolor Canary and Flower Soft was added to the center of the flower for that wow factor.
The stem is a Memory Box.   Have you been in lately to see the huge selection of dies we have? I am sure I can safely say we have the hugest selection in Wisconsin. Yay. And oh what fun they all are to play with. All the dies in the store work in the Cuttlebug as well.

Beautiful full moon

The other morning when I was putting my cats out in their catio I noticed how pretty the skyline was so I ran to grab my camera. Thought I'd share.

Fancy Oval Elegance

When the new Sweet William strips arrived from Cheery Lynn I had quick whipped up the flowers with scraps I had. But then gathered matching paper and cardstocks to turn it into a card. The flowers do all the work so everything else could be sutle.
I put butterflies the same color on the oval so it still was soft and sutle and custom colored all the pearls with Copics to match the project.

Dogwoods

More handmade flowers.  I got this sketch off the internet and then used my own colors and added the dragonfly. The branch is from the Spellbinder Cherry Blossom set and the rest of Cheery Lynn.
I used a soft yellow Copic Marker to add the yellow to the insides of the petals. I have to say out of all the flowers I have been doing in my Flower classes .....the dogwood is one of  my favorites. The Dozen Flowers #3 class is sold out already for 8/8 but I scheduled another for 9/5. So be sure to sign up before all the spots are gone. Check out the website for upcoming classes.   http://www.mmemorieslast.com

Memory of Grandma

Today is my grandma's birthdate. Every year here at Picture This I give out her 'chicken and hens' in memory of her during the make-n-take the week of her birthday. So tomorrow during 11-1 pm you can stop by to get some to help me keep her love spreading. The Hens and Chicks are a succulent ground cover. When she originally gave me some I put them in every flower bed I had to some were sure to survive since I didn't want to loose them. Well they survived everywhere!! In rocks, in rich soil, in sandy soil so they are pretty hardy. And they will multiply.
And I love people sharing with me then what they did with theirs. I have one that is going to bloom for the 1st time ever so I need to get photos of that.

Kitty News

Our current resident at PT for Adoption: Orchid  10 wks old
Orchid, Gladiola and Clover are siblings and the 2 tabbies got adoption papers approved on them right away. We get to 'kitty sit' though until the 30th since the couple had a vacation scheduled.
And little Stevie (now Elsie) was adopted very shortly after she was brought to her temporary home here at Picture This. It has been such a treat to have kittens for a change. We usually get the older and more challenging cats to help the shelter find homes for. And it has been working so that is great. I LOVE being able to help one kitty at a time (or in 2 cases......2 kitties at a time =) )

You can keep up on the cats on our facebook page just for them.  Picture This Kitty Adoption Tails.

Cheery Lynn Dogwoods

Everyone knows I have had fun creating with all the cool flowers you can create with the dies available today. I have just done cards and decided over the weekend to make a few pages so the scrappers can see too how fun the dies make your pages. This Bo Bunny paper was pretty all by itself so I just added the dogwoods on the side and a tiny sprig on the opposite side.
The white petals were customized to match the page with my Copic Markers. And I use a stylus to get the curve in the leaves and petals so they are more lifelike.

Cheery Lynn Sunflower

There were 2 pages left of this paper so I pulled them off the floor to turn them into pages for sale. And they will hit the floor today in the Pages for Sale basket.  I used the cool Cheery Lynn Sunflower die and just added a few of them to the page.

Red, White and Blue

Happy Sunday!!! This is our make-n-take for this Thursday. Hope you can join us. I used Spellbinders circle dies and Cheery Lynn daisies and flourish. Can you tell yet I am having a ton of fun with the flowers? What til you get to start seeing all the ones I offered in my Flowers One, Two and Three classes. Just imagine how much fun you can have making flowers and adding to your projects.

Today is my birthday and I always hear how I was suppose to be a 4th of July baby but my mother was in labor with me for 3 days. So this card is fitting for today I guess.

Stacker Flowers

Last card from the Blogosphere class from last week. The flower is created using a Cheery Lynn stacker flower. All the stackers work together. And with all the awesome flower dies on the market....you can mix and match to your hearts content. I do!!
The bottom card is made using the left over pieces after you cut out the cool new wavy design. That is a Spellbinders die set. And the negative of the Stacker flower. I placed a Candi Dot in the center. Poof! A card. If you want to learn some of these handy dandy tips...then sign up for a class. You always learn something new. And its fun. And you leave with pretty cards you can give to the special people in your life!!

Dainty Pink

Love the elegant look of this simple card. And so did the gals who attended my class. The dies are Cheery Lynn and I used a Viva pen for the 'pearls'. The pinks are from the metallic cardstock we carry so many colors of. They are used for weddings a lot. And are just beautiful embossed as well.

Pretty in Pink

Happy 4th!!  Even though the store is closed today I am here keeping Bluto company and trying to get caught up on odds and ends here. This is a card from my class this week. I used cards from the blogosphere for the bases of that class.
The dies are Cheery Lynn....which is one of our 52 American Made companies we are featuring this week. And the embossing folder is a Tim Holtz set.
