Floral Fun

I had scraps from class so I just made a few variations on the original design for cards for sale in the store. I get bored making the same card over an over.
The tips of the flower were done using the VersaColor Sqaures. I use these inks all the time to add color along edges to match the project I am working on.

Hello

This was a card for a Cuttlebug 101 class. They got hands-on with several different types of
dies. The Tim Holtz bird and cage require a tray that fits through your Cuttlebug.  The pearls were custom colored using Copic Markers.

Judy's Blooms

This card is from a class I taught the other night. I love the Cheery Lynn Judy's Bloom die. It comes with the 2 sizes of flowers and the leaves. The detail is cut in one pass of the Cuttlebug machine while you cut
the designs. I crimp the flowers to add demention and custom color the center pearl to match the project with a Copic marker.

Happy Birthday Lattice

Here is a easy card to make and it can be used for many different occasions. I used half of the lattice behind the opening. And pop-dotted the happy birthday. On the sea shells I used versa mark and then
ultrafine glitter to give the shells the pearlescent look.  Very pretty in person.

Sassy & Maddie

                                                               Maddie & Sassy
Selena is the proud new mom of these sweets siblings!!

Been a little hectic at the store so sorry I have not posted in a couple weeks. Between all the events at the store and rocking this kitty adoption....I have not had time to post on this blog.  I am very happy that we are able to really help the animal shelter find homes for 5 kitties so far. It's exciting and I love knowing we have helped find these cats their forever homes.

Sassy here gave hugs and I miss his huge hugs. He was quite the "Garfield" type cat. They both were major snuggle bugs and since mine are all anti-snuggle at home.....I loved giving them lovings at the store.

We had the Customer Craft fair. That went well and I even started carrying the Goats milk soap from one of the vendors. They are local and their soap was very popular at the fair. So be sure to smell all the wonderful scents the next time you are in. Goats milk soap is great for your skin as well!

We have the annual Customer Thrift Sale next weekend already. So mark your calendars for that to come and shop for some wonderful bargains.

And the Bus Trip is May 11th. A day of fun, food and friends and you do not want to miss this. So be sure to call and reserve your spot today. (715)830-9555

Craft Fair Today

Be sure to pop on over to Picture This today for a Craft Fair in our huge classroom. Local vendors will be set up with their handmade and uniques items. Treat yourself to something or find that one of a kind gift for Mother's Day.

And be sure to say hi to Alley....our current Kitty from the animal shelter. She actually is approved for adoption but won't be picked up until Tuesday. I am anxious to see what cat(s) we get next to help find its forever home.
