Grandma's love

I started a page Monday for Ramsey's grad album and finally finished it. It is still hard to go through photos of grandma...still miss her every day.
You can tell I was having way too much fun with my dies again. If you think about it....they will sure make your pages very very economical in the long run. I use them over and over and you can make beautiful pages with cardstock!

Update on kitty at the store....a new cage is being ordered so as soon as the cage arrives....it will be delivered and then the cat. I am sooo excited! All of us here are and I know many of you are too because each time you come you ask if the cat has arrived yet.
Lisa is going to start a FB page for the cats too. That will be fun and you will want to watch for that and 'like' the page to keep up with the animal antics.

Valentine Cards

Saturday while I was at the store I made up a handful of Valentine cards to put out for sale. Because I know many of you start out with the best intentions but run out of time. So zip on in to buy a premade one of you run out of time. These were made using papers left over from previous products. Don't you just love when you can use up some of your leftover supplies?

Baby

I made this as a page for sale. There was one sheet of the baby acetate left and I got tired of looking at it. I know if I leave it on the floor to be bought...it will sit forever. But if I make it into a page for sale......it will sell. (sigh) I had the green patterned paper left over from a class and used an old Provo Craft heart die. With the clear acetate going over the top of the finished product I could not do an actual button so I just punched a circle out of matching cardstock...punched two holes and threaded string through to make a fake button that would lay flat but still give the look of an actual button. For a baby page...it needed a button.

Take me! Take me!

Diablo, my Siamese, clearly didn't want me to go to work today or he wanted to go with.

Frosty Flake

This is a fun little teachers gift or office gift. The new snowflake rosettes by Tim Holtz are fun. Dawn did a
entire mini tree we had on display before Christmas with a variety of the rosettes. It was pretty.
This is just taking a mini blue memo pad and using patterned paper and ribbon to decorate and then adding the flake. Tim's dry glitter was added afterward for the final touch.

Flocked Bird

This paper is a flocked My Mind's Eye and I decided to make a sample for the store to show you how pretty it can be done up. Some things just don't move until we give you all the inspiration.  I used the Cheery Lynn doily and heart dies to complete the page. Have I convinced you scrappers yet that dies really are a great addition to your pages? Then I inked the doily edges in a sage green and an antique linen as well as the edges of the pages and randomly on the page itself so it wasn't this start cream. And notice the teeny pearl for the birds eye?  It took less than 5 minutes to make.

All About Me

Here is a cute page for a youngster. I cut the bottoms to make them banners and added some diecuts and flowers and a little journal card and poof! A page. The adorable paper is 3 Bugs In a Rug, journal card is My Minds Eye and dies used are by Cheery Lynn.

Heavenly heart

Last card from Tues. nights class. This one was my favorite. Many dies were used on this card and I was not partial to companies since it covers Cheery Lynn, Spellbinders, Marianne and My Favorite Things. If you want to learn how to use all these fun dies in your Cuttlebug....I have a CB 101 class coming up Feb. 26th. This always sells out fast so be sure to call today. (715)830-9555.
The best way we recommend to glue the detailed dies in a glue pen. Then you have no adhesive mess either.
This would make a beautiful Mothers Day card too.

Judith Heart Tree

Another card from the Heavenly Hearts class....using the Judith bare tree and adding the hearts. The little pot  die was used by cottage cutz and the 3 in 1 butterflies and hydrangeas. The little touches are what make your card or page. We featured the pot in our weekly make-n-take 2 weeks ago. If you have not popped in for one of them...what are you waiting for? It is fun every week and a different project each week.

Judith stamps will be our Facebook challenge for the month of February so all of my faithful blog followers will have a heads up. It won't be announced on FB yet for another week. Just make a project using Judith stamps....post it on Picture This's Fb page. Then get your peeps to "like" Picture This and then like your posting. The one with the most likes wins!! They have to like our page 1st though. Have fun with it!!

Through rain or shine

Goodmorning!! Not quite as cold this morning as yesterday morning so that is a good thing.
Here is a fun card from last nights class. (and I thanked everyone of them for showing up in bonechilling temps!!)   On this card I had them play with the Copic markers some. I am really liking the Floral Oval by Spellbinders so you will see it in a few of my upcoming classes. The umbrella was stamped on a matching piece of paper and cut out to be popped up over the original image.

Be sure to check out the class board...lots of fun classes coming up. I posted new ones yesterday that I created Monday. (will love the store being closed on Mondays!!)  And next I am working on a Copic 101 so stay tuned.

Heartfelt Sympathy

For the final card from class I showed them how to make a window with their dies and then put the lattice between the 2 layers. A hydrangia punch was used for the teeny flowers and a fern punch both by MS. The
My Favorite Things banner die was used as well. Are you seeing the fun uses for the lattice yet? I have used it a lot since I bought mine and am still having fun with it.

Blue Dragonfly

This card was fun in that dies are coming out with shadows now. The patterned paper used is Authentics 6x6 single sheets. So if you are a card maker and do not like having the rest of an entire sheet of 12x12 after making one card.....these are perfect for you.  I used a border punch for the scalloped, the Cheery Lynn dragonfly again and the ferns are from Memory Box. (we just got in a bunch of new Memory Box this week!)  A glue pen works the best for adhering fine detailed diecuts.

Dragonfly Lattice

Happy Saturday!! The next 3 postings are from my Dragonfly Die-light classes I did this past week. This one was the easiest. I started them out easy and saved the multi cut/layer for last.  Everything is cardstock except the one brad and using dies so the cost of this card is very very little. And it is still pretty.

Supplies: Cheery Lynn dragonfly, lattice, cornder and Build a flower dies, Spellbinders Rose Creation die.

Love You

Monday some of the Pt staff and I were working on pages for sale and I had Lisa whip up a cute kids class..so be sure to check that out on the Picture This website. We had done a fund raiser last fall for Sarah Stokes at Action City and had pieces of our make-n-take from that night left over so we are finally getting around to turning them onto pages for sale. We do all the hard work....you just add your photos and journaling.

Owl Mania

Here is another page that will hit the floor for sale. I used the Cheery Lynn flourish die again...I love that die. And it comes in 3 sizes and I have and use all 3 of them!  The new Memory Box dies arrived Monday so I am anxious to play with some new ones as well. New kitty dies....hummmmm...how could I use them?

1st Birthday

This is made as a page for sale. I used the square punch to make the banners, added Bakers Twine and a couple buttons, inked the edges and poof! A page.

Paper Straws ~ Kisses

Finally!! I have been battling with computers all morning. I hate whenever they do an automatic update here at the store. And I have had issues uploading photos to my blog for a week. It is a new format and I do not like change!

Now on to the fun stuff....everyone asks us what to do with all the pretty paper straws and the possibilities are endless. Just use your imagination. Here I punches out to hearts using a MS punch and added a banner stamped with a Judith stubby kisses stamp.

Lovely Lattice

I was able to create one page Monday when the store was closed. I am trying this for the winter. I end up at the store more then I do at home and my goal this year is to change that. So by being closed on Mondays...I am really hoping to not be up here every weekend prepping for classes, creating classes and doing book work. Ask me in a month how it is going.

I used dies on this page. I still say if you are not using dies you are missing a whole lot of fun and potential for  your pages. A Cheery Lynn lattice and doily die were used along with Spellbinders Rose creation and a MS butterfly punch.

My Web

Do you have some of the fun Halloween dies from Memory Box?  Think outside the box so you can use
those dies more than once a year.  I hand wrote a message.....I've got you in my web........for a fun Valentine
card. We still have some webs and spiders in stock.

Frosty Home

Flower Soft was added to the branches already on the printed paper.
Notice the teeny snowflakes? They were actually pieces out of the die on bottom of pages that I normally throw away but I gathered them up and added them to the page. One tree was pop dotted for added effect.

This was a photo of my home a few years ago. I love when the trees are all white from frost and from snow. Such a pretty look.
This is the last page from my day playing. I have decided to close the store on Mondays for the winter and am really hoping that it will allow me more time at home on the weekends. Otherwise I am at the store on weekends coming up with classes and doing catch up. So now with Monday uninterupted...my goal is to be home more on the weekends. I will let you know how that works out in a few weeks. Wish me luck!!

Snowman Kitty

I created at the store yesterday and got 3 pages done. (and bookwork...but that doesn't count)  This paper already came with the banners across the top so I just added a few extra things. I had a sheet of stickers of various words and the "silly" sticker matched so I added to one of the banners. I love when leftovers work on projects!

Doesn't he look pleased as can be to pose for the photo? lol. Poor kitties...I don't have little kids to dress up any more so guess the cats will have to tolerate it until I have grandchildren many years from now.

Cosmo & Santa

The jolly fella was at Picture This and since Cosmo was good this last year.....he got to sit on Santa's lap....paw.
I was at the store yesterday and got 3 pages done. Whew hoo.
This one I used dies and prepacked flowers and strung some ribbon through it. I like the final results. Hope you got to create a little over the holidays too.

Bluebird

Happy New Year. This card was used for your make-n-take this past Thursday. So simple but so elegant. I used metallic papers to really make the diecut pieces pop. And then pop-dotted the bird.

Memory Box:Bird and Birdcage dies
Cheery Lynn: leave and large flower die
MS: Hydrangea punch
Ecstacy: Fancy Oval Frame
Cardstock and Metallic cardstock
