Bold and Beautiful

A quick update on the blog. Another one-page-wonder. The single remaining black and white sheet spoke just simple and elegant to me so I just added a few things and let the papers black floral stems speak for themselves. The corner punch added just the right touch for elegance and the butterfly added just enough for a point of interest next to the flowers. I punched one in black and adhered it flat to the page. And then punched a second in white and bent its wings up, then adhered. Crystal Stickles was then added to the flower centers and the butterfly to add the needed bling to make the page pop.
Not all pages have to be time consuming. Give yourself a break and do some quick and simples ones too.

Supples: Urban Lily paper, MS punch and EK Success punches, Stickles.

Thinking of You

Happy Thursday....don't forget to pop on out between 11-1 for our weekly free make-n-take.

This card is the last from my class Monday.  The fun Rubber Stamp Tapestry peg stamps were used to create the floral background. These stamps are so easy to use and you can fill any size area you want or just use single like I did next to the sentiment. Then I dot Stickles all over it when I am done for the final touch.
The border is done using the new Dienamics we are now carrying.  They work in your Cuttlebug so you know we love them. There is yet another company I will be bringing in to PT in the near future that has beautiful delicate dies. I am very estatic over these designs and can hardly wait.
We ALWAYS keep creating fun for you here at PT with the latest and greatest and tons of samples, classes and events to inspire you.

Supplies: Rubber Stamp Tapestry stamps, My Favortie Things Dienamic die, Bo Bunny paper, Crystal Stickles, Versa Colors inks, gem, CS.

To Cheer You

Happy Wednesday. Be sure to check your Facebook to see if you are one of the lucky 10 this week randomly chosen from our Facebook Friends. We post 10 every Wednesday June-July for the Dog Days of Summer event.

Todays card is another from class. Lots of layers again. The stamping is done with a new set from Just Rites that coordinates with the Spellbinders dies. They have teamed up to coordinate their 2 products as well as many other companies doing the same. Very clever. So stop on in and check out the possibilities. We also have the gems that were made for your favorite dies too.

Supplies: Just Rite stamps, Spellbinders, Kaiser Kraft gems, Tim Holtz Distress Walnut ink, Basic Grey papers, ribbon, CS.

Also, if you have not had a chance yet.....stop in to see the exclusive Spellbinders dies we have. Only 2 stores in WI have them. We have been busy shipping them out to everyone seeing them on our website. They won't be available to everyone for over a month yet. So get them before everyone else.

High Maintenance

Goodmorning! I haven't updated for a couple weeks. We have been busy here at the store with the "Dog Days of Summer" event and coming up with fun ways for you to earn Paw Points. The latest way got underway the other day. Match staff to their 'dogs' and earn point for each one you get correct.

We also are an official Drop Off Site for cards for "Operation Write Home". You can get more details in-store and on our website. We hope everyone joins in.

Todays post is one from my class yesterday. I am the 'layer gal' here. I love layer upon layer.  A lot of fun products were used on this card along with the cute giraffe stamp by Judith. Remember we have Judith stamps exclusive to Eau Claire. So come check them out ....you will love the versitality of her line of stamps.

The students in class got to learn a new technique to them all as well.....reverse stenciling. They were amazed at how easy it is.

Supplies: Judith stamp, My Favorite Things verse stamp, Versa color inks, Spellbinders, Tim Holtz Distress Ink, MS border punch, Graphic 45 papers, Hero Arts pearls, CS.  All supplies available at Picture This =)

Pretty Blooms

I took a photo last week of one of my bushes....it is the fullest it has ever been. I am glad I did because in
less than a week it was done blooming.  And with photos....we can enjoy them over and over each time we look at the photos. That is why we all love scrapbooking....we are preserving those memories...whether they be a special event, flowers, animals or trips.
And today we will have near 100* temps so get out of the heat and come create in our cooled classroom.

Don't forget our "Dog Days of Summer" going on. We have several ways for you to earn Paw Points.
