July Fab 5 Day 5

Goodmorning. Our final project for this months Fab 5 is a Nestabilities from Spellbinder....the tree set.  They were a limited edition but we have some available yet. Hello! We live in Wisconsin so I thought this could be used a lot so ordered extra before they disappeared for good.
I ran the cut out image thru various embossing folders and then sanded to really make the images pop.
This was a winter storm 2 years ago. I love when the snow coats the trees like this....just could do without the winter roads.
We hope you enjoyed this months Fab 5.  Stayed tuned Monday for a special announcement and for the winner of the free product from posting a comment. You have til midnight tonight to still get in on the chance for some goodies!!

Supplies: Tree and snowflake Spellbinders dies, Flower Soft, Coredinations, EK corner punch, Stamping Station paper, CS, brads.

July Fab 5 Day 4

Happy Thursday. Hope to see you at the store today for our weekly make-n-take.

Todays project was using a sheet of My Minds Eye diecuts. I used some flowers, the scalloped border, florish and a couple labels on this card. And there is still a whole lot left on the sheet to use on other projects. And with My Minds Eye.....they have the coordinating paper to make creating your one of a kind projects a breeze!!
Speaking of My Minds Eye..........I just ordered their entire "Lost & Found" collection and it is sweet. And 3 of us Fab 5 leave Sunday for CHA so the store will be flooded with all the vendors new releases over the next few months.
The Spellbinders blog has been showing sneak peeks of their 30 new dies being released at CHA. Tim Holtz's blog has been showing sneak peeks as well.....that man never rests! I have already seen a lot of sneak peeks and all I have to say is WOW!  All the vendors are outdoing themselves yet agian. We all are so lucky to always have fun and new things to keep our creativity sparked.  And are you aware that the majority of our vendors have the product made in USA?  I think that is an important unknown fact. The majority of our stamp companies are made here in the states. I will have to do a write up for you sometime on it. But today you need to pop on over to the other Fab 5 blogs and then leave a comment on any 1 of them to get your name entered for some goodies!!!  Have a  great day.
P.S.  Happy Birthday Mom.

Supplies: My Minds Eye diecut, Hero Arts gems and stamp, Judith bear stamp, VersaColor ink, CS and mounting foam.

July Fab 5 Day 3

Goodmorning. Todays product was a sheet of rub ons from "October Afternoon".  I used a bird one and saying on the front. And 2 floral swags on the first fold opening and at the bottom of a tag that pulls out of the 3rd opening. This is another tower-size card and a tri-fold. The paper is double-sided so that gave the 2 different patterns for interest.  Try some new folds and layers on your cards to step outside the A2 box.

Supplies: October Afternoon rub-ons, May Art ribbon, CS, mounting foam.

July Fab 5 Day 2

Todays challenge was a "Time Flies" acrylic stamp sheet. I made a motion card and these are very easy to make. The cupcake stamps dangles so there is action when you open the card. This is designed to fit a tower size envelope. (business size envelope)  Then I used my Copics to custom color to perfectly match the patterned paper. And added some stickles. The bow is a double sided ribbon but I got all excited when I noticed the green perfectly matched the paper as well!!

Supplies: Time Flies stamp, Inkadinkadoo cupcake stamp, Copics, Moxxie paper, CS, May Arts ribbon, Stickles, Circle Nestabilities and mounting foam.

Goodmorning!!  It is already time again for our Fab 5.  Five products, 5 designers, 5 days and our blog followers end up with 25 ideas! And one lucky commentor will again win some free product!!  So be sure to leave a comment on any one of our blogs during this Fab 5. You can also drop a comment off at the store for us to post for you along with which day and whose post you'd like it added to.

Update

Just a quick update on my mother........she is finally home!!  What was suppose to be one night in the hospital turned into several. They removed the tumor and feel confident they got it all. The tests look good that the cancer didn't go into the lymph nodes. She had some air pockets in her lungs after the surgery though so they were not releasing her until those disappeared.  Everyone is happy she is back home because the drive to the University Hospital isn't fun and especially with the summer construction.
Her 1st day home yesterday started out rough. She wasn't doing well but by evening she was feeling better.

Thank you everyone for the prayers and all the cards and well wishes.

Happy Birdie to You

A quick card since I haven't had time to be creating this week.  This may be one of the upcoming Senior Scissors cards...haven't made up my mind yet.   The paper has several medallion circles and 3 of each size so I thought it'd be perfect for a class.
Supplies: Cuttlebug folder, May Arts ribbons, CS and medallion paper.

Don't forget tonight is our Sneak Peek at the 2010 Amuse*A*Palooza stamps from 5-7. So be sure to come join us for snacks, prizes, specials and of course.....to SEE the new stamps!!!!

Potting Shed

Quick card before the weekend. I had done the coloring with another paper in mind but then when it came time to assemble...there wasn't enough to decorate the inside. So I walked the vast floor of PT and found this paper. As you can see in the inside...there was no coral color.  So I simply used my Copics and added some the same color I used on the shed to some of the flowers and then it matched great! I weaved the ribbon through the fence punch on the front of the card.
Supplies: Copics, MS border punch, Daisy D;s paper, Nestibilities and ribbon.

Everyone have a safe and fun holiday weekend.
