birthday...

Last card from the Cards & Coffee class. Someone in class counted my layers and this card and decided there were 9. lol. I am the 'layer queen' here.  Many layers is just my style. I don't like plain jane. Never have.  This is using a new stamp set by Hero Arts. All the companies are releasing such fun stamps. I just ordered a new company for the store Tuesday morning so am anxious for them to arrive!! The Copic lovers will really like them but they are very very cute for everyone else as well.

Bird in Reeds

This one the color combos were fun to work with. I pick one element and then build from that. I usually pick my patterned paper first and then match up cardstocks and embellishments. The stamped image is a set from Our Daily Bread that we just got in. Love it! And they partnered with Spellbinders so the dies coordinate. The flower is from a My Favorite Things die set. A Fiskars border punch was used on each side for the scalloping.

Live in our Hearts

I am out to the store creating today. I cleaned for the first 5 hours...getting rid of old vendor catologs to finally make room for the new ones from CHA. Then I am suppose to be working on more classes but I unearthed this project when I was cleaning. It will be a year next month already that I lost my grandma. It does not seem like that long ago. Still miss her dearly. I was not able to do the page before when I gathered the materials. And I know I have tried a few different times only to put it away again. So I am glad I finally finished it. The vellum quote is perfect for my gma too. We have so many at the store and I can't read most of them without getting teary eyed. I hid the glue dots with pearls on the corners. There are several ways to hid your vellum adhesives.
I am pretty sure this paper is gone by now since it took me almost a year. But the beautiful doily and heart at the top are from Cheery Lynn dies.

Supplies: WeR Memory paper, Cheery Lynn dies, Prima Flowers, Zva pearls, Quick Quotes vellum quote. MS twig punch.

Heal well. Heal soon

Goodmorning. The next 3 posts will be from my Cards & Coffee class I taught this past Monday. Remember, if you cannot make it to class but would like a class kit.....simply call before class date and reserve your kit. This one is easy but still very pretty. The dies do all the work...again. Love dies!

Supplies: Cheery Lynn butterfli and flowers dies, Spellbinders ovals, MS twig punch, Candi Dot, Words to Rescue stamp set.

Cupcakes anyone?

This is another card from Kids Camp but it is such a fun one that it can be done for anyone. Just lots of circles and squares. It could double as a Lego card also if you didn't add the cupcakes. Only one was pop-dotted for added interest.

Supplies: Judith stubby stamp, Copic Markers, Spellbinders circle dies, CS.

Kids Camp Cards

These are just a few of the many cards taught last week for the Color My World Kids Camp. Several of these card ideas were gained from Pinterest. If you have not discovered this endless black hole yet....it has a lot of inspiration for everything under the sun. But you loose huge chunks of time once you log on. lol

Hello!

Another card from my class...they got to play with all kinds of dies in this class. They got to learn how the Cuttlehug is such an awesome tool.........metal plate to use as a shim. the flowers are the Rose Creations by Spellbinders and I added depth to them by adding some white ink to the tips. You could also use white stain. Then a Candi Dot for the center. Poof! A beautiful card.

Dies used: Rose Creation, Mini Flourish, Mini Doilies.

Possitive/Negative

The top card was from class I taught the other night and the bottom 2 were made from the negatives from class. So get used to using your negatives as well gals and make your product go even further.

Thanks to everyone who came to the PT Rodeo yesterday. I think some of the adults were enjoying it more then the kids  =)  Big hug thanks to Lisa and Miss WI Rodeo for taking time out of their busy schedules to do this mini events for our PT customers.

Kitty Kitty Kitty

Here is a card using the fun windoe die from Cheery Lynn and finally a cat die from Magnolia. Flower dies were used as well. The closeup shows the pearls....they were white and I custom colored them with Copic markers to match my project.  The last card is using the negative from cutting the cat out and making yet another card with the negative.  So use them too gals!!

Don't forget today is our PT Rodeo. I am excited. It should be a lot of fun for the kids. I picked up carrots this morning for the kids to give to the horse. Lisa texted me 20 minutes ago she is in MN from weekend rodeo with her keys locked in vehicle. Her naughty dog did that. So she is calling a locksmith. I just have to laugh after how this past week has went around here. It all comes together in the end. So we hope to see you here today whether for the Cards & Coffee class I will be teaching from 130-3 or the PT Rodeo from 230-4. Don't forget your camera. The kids can get photo taken with Miss Wisconsin Rodeo, Professional barrel racer Lisa and horse or all. Then they get to come inside and make a fun page to add their photos to when they get them developed. And lasso up some savings while here too!!!

My Little Shoebox Album

Goodmorning!! This was a class I took at CHA. The product has already arrived in store. The owner of
My Little Shoebox was teaching the class and is a super nice gal. After class she gave me a hug on the way out the door. And then when I went to her booth the next day she gave me a hug again.

Mini albums make great gifts. And with the holiday season quick approaching...it is time to think of gift giving ideas. They can be given to a grandparent as a brag book, to an expecting mother or bride and then she can add the photos once the sweet baby arrives, to a friend. The list goes on and on.
