Fly A Kite

The last card from my Elzy Belles sample board. I cute the kite out of coordinating paper and drew a line for it then pop-dotted it for added dimention. Of course its colored with Copic markers =) Then used the MS fench punch and added ribbon and a flower. Popped a pearl accent in center....it's all about details. This is another unique template. Just folder however much smaller you want your card. But then hold next to your envelope size and see where your next piece needs to be attached in order to still fit into the envelope.

Beautiful day today so I hope my Wisconsin blog followers get to be outside to enjoy it.

Simple Birthday

Goodmorning. Hope you got to enjoy the nice weekend. Here is a simple, quick birthday card for when you need one at the last minute. The dots is My Minds Eye and the mauve is the backside of the dots. I love MME for this reason. It is always color coordinated. And you can sand your embossed as well since it has the inner white core. I used a border punch and added ribbon. The circles were from Nestie dies.

Supplies: My Minds Eye paper, CS, EK Success candle punch, Nesties, Creative Impressions ribbon, Swiss Dots embossing folder, Hero Arts stamp and pop dot.

Stamp Board

Last weekend I hauled all my 'stuff' home and worked on a sample board. Most companies charge for theirs and why not create our own!? So this board is featuring the Elzy Belles stamps. You will have to stop in-store to check out the live samples. And we can not get the stamps any longer so when they are gone...they're gone. They are just adorable.   The stamps have arrived as well for the Amuse-A-Palooza so we are anxious to share those as well but we have to keep them top secret til July. So we're busy plotting and planning some fun for that week.  And we have been very busy behind the scenes planning and prepping for this comings weeks Customer Appreciation.

June Fab 5 Day Four

I had to whip this one up real quick last night so pretty basic. I did throw in a popped up sentiment in the inside since I really cheated and let the paper do the work for me on the outside. I made it into a large card to show all the pattern that was on the paper. On the inside I cut 2 slots and folder that in the opposite direction of the card fold so it created a elevated sqaure. I adhered the sentiment to that. So when you open the card....that pops up at you. I finished if off by spritzing glimmer mist on the front. You can see it in store when we display our June Fab 5 next week.

Be sure to leave a comment on our blogs or in-store for us to post for you for chance to win $20 in product along with all 5 of featured products we used this week.   Then mark your calenders because next week is our Customer Appreciation Week and you will not want to miss any of it. Today is our free make-n-take so hop on out from 11-1 today for that as well.

Supplies: Dreamstreet Fiesty paper, CS, Hero Arts and Judith stamps, Nestibilie die, Tattered Angels.

June Fab 5 Day Three

Goodmorning.....a day predicted with no rain today!! Whoo hoo. I think we surpassed out 2 inch deficit.

I have had a lot of people commenting in-store on the Fab 5 but do not have a blog account to comment. You can bring your comments in with your name and town and I will post your info for you and your name can then be entered in drawing as well. Be sure to write which Fab 5 post you want comment added to.

Todays challenge was with a paper that resembled waves to me. So I cut the designs out and multi-layered them to create waves.  This would be perfect for Fathers Day. (hint, hint)  Copics were used to color and I pop-dotted the fish.

Supplies: Judith stamps, Copic Markers, Scribble Scrabble paper, Cloud stencil, Atlantic Versacolor ink, CS and Spica pen on the lure to make it shimmer.

Thursdays Make-n-Take

Hope everyones week is going well. I know several who are having a rough week so heres to hoping things brighten up.   I have been sporatic with the postings lately. I had my oldests graduation and then we have sooo many things upcoming here at the store that the details have taken a lot of my time. I actually tore my craft room apart at the store Tues. and have gotten several cards made since! It has been set up backwards for me the entire time due to wall outlets and such when we moved everything up here from my Eleva store. Well enough was enough and I rearranged so it is for a 'lefty' now. What a world of difference. Now I just need light above my work area.

Anyhoo.........here is our next Thursdays make-n-take. There will be one for free and this one is a step it up for a buck.

Supplies: Changito monkey, Amuse sentiment, Copic Markers, Spellbinder die, My Minds Eye paper and red twine.

Summer Rule #5

Here's a quic page I did yesterday for our pages-for-sale basket. You Can't read the cool tag but it has "Summer Rule #5" on it and then you journal your info on the tag. This is using all Scienc Route and My Minds Eye papers. Even the cream is the backside of a patterned paper.

Graduate

We survived graduation over the weekend. So therefore no new posts all week long. The ceremony was very nice  and the weather was beautiful over the weekend for all the grad parties. Ryan had 62 in his graduating class. (which is actually a large class for our school)
My next son is a freshman so I have a few years in between. whew.
