And McKenna.....Cosmo is rolling around by my feet in his ball while I am typing this....he must be trying to tell me to tell you hello!  =)

Cafe-Mocha

I taught a Copic 101 Sunday and this is one of the fun cards they got to make while I told them all the wonderful virtues of Copic markers.  The stamps are the cute Riley stamps and I love the saying inside.

Grandma & Angel

I had fun with this page. I used scraps of papers from previous projects. I pop dotted the top right yellow
octagon. Then I decorated the bottom left one. the angel wings are for my grandma and her little pom is also called Angel.
Photos are from '04 and that is pretty much when my scrapbooking came to a huge halt. I opened my store that summer and have not gotten much time to do my own pages. So starting to be closed Mondays has been a huge help to me.

One Special Day

                                                           Another page for sale.
I used a Viva Pearl Pen for the drops on the heart and in centers of the flowers. You can make your dots as big or small as you wish. Heart is a Cheery Lynn die and MS butterfly punch used as well.

2nd Grade

I used various leftovers for the banners and then added the ABC and 123's.
This is actually the matting for the photo but I always cut items out of it. The banner was longer then the
matting so I only ran the Cuttlebug so far and then backed it up so it didn't ruin my matting. Then snipped the banner off for use on the page.

Whoo hoo!! Another page done for graduation!!

The tissue flower I made at summer CHA using the Glubers and a wood button. The upper heart is a Fancy Pants rub on.

CHA 2011

I came across these photos from a past CHA and thought I'd share them in a sample for the store. Some of our vendors go all out on their display booths at show. I used the Bo Flex ruler again and this time a border punch and just cut it every so many inches to keep it to the curve.
I used Spellbinders and Cheery Lynn dies and distressed with inks. The beautiful paper is Graphic 45.

Meet Clyde ~ our 1st PT Adoption Kitty

I am soooo excited to have been able to partner with the Eau Claire Co. Humane Assc. to be an
off-site adoption spot for kitties. We got our 1st adoptable cat Wed. Meet Clyde. He is a 6 year old
who gets along great with dogs but not other cats. He is just such a sweetheart that all of us gals here
at Picture This are loving him. Lisa created a Facebook Page just for our critters so be sure to friend the
Picture This Adoptions Tails page to keep up with all the fun.
A lot of people can not go to the shelter because it is hard to look at so many animals needing homes and pick just one so we all are excited to have this off-site spot where they can come to view just one. He is ready for his forever home. He has all his shots, is nuetered and has a microchip.
Clyde has had a lot of visitors already but Sunday we had freezing rain so he is looking out his window at the ice covered lot and sad knowing there wouldn't be much company.
The store is closed Mondays for the winter and I have looked forward all week to being able to have Clyde back in the office with me for the day so he can be out of a cage. The poor thing has been in a cage since Sept. so we are pouring on the love and freedom til he finds his forever home.
Here he is saying hi to the store mascot....Cosmo.

I love you!

I am suppose to be getting senior pages done but I did everything but on Monday. I am finally able to start scrapping some of grandma's photos though so that is good. It was just way too hard for the first year after loosing her. She always wore such bright colored smocks so it is always a challenge to match papers. I like the softer colors so the brights are outside of my box.

Supplies used: My Minds Eye papers, CS, MS hydrangea punch, Sizzix font and My Favorite Things floral die set

Negatives for Cards

Monday I also got some cards for sale made too.  If you look at the last post you will see these dark brown
foilage frames are actually the negatives from cutting the foilage out for the pages. So remember you can use your left over part after you cut the original die out. The fern is Spellbinders and the beaded dot border is a My Favorite Things die.

Floral Delight Page

Monday I got several pages for sale made along with some personal pages that will be samples for the moment. Can't wait until the ECCHA kitty arrives so that I will have company while I create at the store. It will be one spoiled cat.

This was made using punches and dies. We all still have a huge supply of punches from before the awesome dies started to arrive so be sure to still use them on your projects too. We have invested in them so use them.
I used Coredinations so that I was able to sand the edges to distress since the paper used had a distressed look to it as well.  If you are behind on pages....remember to check out our page kits and pages for sale. We offer them to make your life easier.

Supplies used: October Afternoon & American Crafts paper, Cheery Lynn butterfly die, Spellbinder foilage die, EK whale of punch florals, pearls.

Nebraska Zoo 2009

Now with my decision to have the store closed on Mondays.....I can finally get some more things accomplished. I have made more personal pages in the past 3 weeks then I have been able to in the past 9 years since opening a store!!

My favorite zoo so far is the Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha, NE.  They have a huge cat complex. I would go there and just watch the tigers for hours if it were closer.  Love my tigers!!

I used a circle punch to make the scallops along the curved edge. And a Bo Bunny bendable ruler.

Supplies used: Bo Bunny Flex Ruler, Cheery Lynn heart die, button, EK folk heart punch, Sizzix fonts, Quick Quotes paper and Coredinations CS.

Scrappy Cat

I remember this took many attempts to get Diablo to sit still long enough for the photos.
To make your own banners....mark the center and then draw lines from each corner to your make.
Cheery Lynn just released a mini doily to match the medium and large one I already have....is it not cuter    then cute!?!

These photos were taken in May 2006 when I was knee deep in getting my 1st scrapbook/stamp store open in my home town. Walls had to be painted, product ordered, then setting up the entire store and classroom. I was still working fulltime at the time so I look back and wonder how I pulled it off. But with help from family and friends....it was opened in August. The photos were taken for my website at the time to promote the store.

Supplies used: Cheery Lynn dies, punches, Tim Holtz mini stapler, Bo Bunny & 3 Bugs in Rug paper, CS, Candi Dots, May Art ribbon.

Watch Me Grow

A quick page for sale.  The glitter flowers are one sheet of acetate. I love these...you just add a couple glue dots behind the design and stick to your page and it is nearly done. I double matted the photo frame for more interest and then pop dotted the smaller one. Added a butterfly diecut and the title and bow.

Cosmo Cricket papers, May Arts ribbon, Fancy Pants glitter acetate, My Mind's Eye title, Marianne butterfly die, CS.
