I started this project months ago and finally had time to finish it. Five cards hit the floor Saturday as Take-n-Makes. All the hard work is done for you. You just assemble. All the dies used were Cheery Lynn except the frame.....that is IO.
Close up of the dogwood. I used a Copic to tip the flowers
It feels like FOREVER since I got to create. The new retreat is finally done and open for business and Picture This is finally reset to its new norm. So now life can start to get back to its new norm as well. I am taking a break from everything today to just create. It feds my soul and I am long overdue.
I loved the colors in this print so decided to make a sample for the store and a page for sale since it always takes another sheet so then there is not waste. (it'd be a 2 page spread if for personal use)
I used Cheery Lynn dies for the beautiful flowers and tiny dragonflies.
This is from yesterdays card. I started with this paper combo and didn't like it. But I didn't want extra pieces laying around so I found a background scrap piece of paper that would work and poof! A card.
Thanks for stopping by my blog. I have been a scrapper forever and started cards in '87. Now I can't imagine doing one without the other or not having this creative outlet in my world. I live in Wisconsin, have 2 boys and 4 cats and have an obsession with tigers. In '04 I was diagnosed with Chiari and had to make a career change. So I turned my hobby into a business and opened a store in my hometown in '04 and eventually bought a larger store in '06 and combined the two. I love sharing my creative passion with others.
