Living in the Moment

This was a class this past week. I had the flowers with black left from a previous class so this is what I came up with. I used a stitched banner to match the white stitching on the leaves.

Purple mania

A poor last sheet of patterned paper left on the sales floor so I turned it into a page for sale. But then liked the results. So found similar papers and made Page Kits for the store.

More teeny roses

 And a double page with all the same elements.  and the teeny roses added to centers again. I did a video on our FB page on how easy it is to make them. Be sure to check it out. We carry the dies to make these flowers yourself for your pages and cards.

Another page for sale. If you are behind on your pages.....we always have pages for sale in the store. And all the hard work is done!!

Large and small roses

 Another page for sale. I added my teeny hand made roses to the centers of the larger roses.

Burlap flowers

We got in these cute little burlap flowers and I was waiting to use them. I was using the patterned paper for an upcoming class and noticed they also matched the paper perfectly. This is a page for sale.

Fall Floral Page

 Just a easy page because I liked the paper. I usually don't get to do many fall projects since we start Christmas at the store in July. And the fall color palette is my favorite.

I used one of the new Cheery Lynn floral dies. And used a stylus to curve the longer fern ones.

 My camera is just not doing the items justice anymore. Never crisp and clear.

 Another quick page kit for the floor. And I used a Heartfelt Creation flower die to make the flowers.

Rising Star Page Kit

I made a bunch of rosettes and then cut lots of stars and created a Page Kit for the floor. Only $5.95 including an extra sheet for a 2 page layout and all the hard work is already done.

Version 2 Poppies

There were only 4 sheets of the peach patterned paper left on the floor. Connie and I have been on a mission to make pages for sale out of the ones with very few left so we can make room for all the new product arriving.

 The teal was made into a page kit. The pink is just from left overs so a page for sale. The cute corner dies are MFT.

And a page for sale out of the leftover patterned paper from yesterdays page. The pink flowers are new and are actually burlap. We received them in assorted colors.

Not Again

 I spent the entire past weekend in my craft room working on projects for the store but took time out to do a couple pages for myself for a change. The photos are from a year ago and I haven't even dressed them for a photo op this year at all! Not even at Halloween time. Sad when I don't even have time for that. See how tolerant they are of me?

This is a double bow made by the Bow-It-All and I have a video on the stores FB page showing how easy it is to use. It's my new toy to play with. You'll be seeing more bows from it in future posts and classes and Page Kits and make-n-takes.

Large flower

I had made a 2 foot flower for our Annual Cancer Crop and someone requested a class on it. I made one out of patterned papers for the class so they can see a solid and a pattern design. And I'll just hang it in my craft room at home when it's done. I went to Iowa to the Taylored Expressions Stamp Joy in October and got a tour of the warehouse and craft room. They had several sized paper flowers decorating the craft room and I thought it was a perfect thing!

Your Life was a Blessing

 Time for a personal page. If I try to do one every now and then I may get all my photos done....by 2099!! I am so far behind since the store comes first and mine come last. This is my sweet grandma who I still miss dearly. she truly was my gma, mom and friend all in one.

I use a Copic marker on the white to make look more like birch trees.

I made the page with leftovers but then had Caitlin make a title. Well I fell in love with the title so now we are in the process of making more of these pages for Page Kits. Things always snowball here. So watch for it on the sales floor.

Yellow Sweet Williams

 Another similar to yesterdays only using a different type flower. I tipped the cream flowers with a yellow ink. And used a stylus to cup the flowers.

 I got to hole up in my craft room almost all weekend at home.  A very rare happening. this is one of several pages for sale I made. I used the Rose Creation die by Spellbinders for the flowers.

Blue Rose Page Kit

 This page kit hits the floor today. I have used this paper in the past. I love it. But now the kits wipe it out.

 The new My Favorite Things stitched flowers worked perfect inside the larger flower diecuts. And I am having fun with the bow maker so you see the tiny double bow I created. I used Sage Versacolor on the tips of the flowers to soften them.
