Sunflower Pages

This is for a class today. I have been doing the series of pages with a matching card. I used scattered straw Distressed Ink on the tips of the sunflowers. The dotted banners are Spellbinders. The sunflower and swirl are both Cheery Lynn.

 I saw this layout design concept and always wanted to try someday. I had this single photo of my niece with her daughter and the merry-go-round fit the feel of the circles.

The cute little rose is made by hand. I've done a video for the store on how easy they are to make.

 This was another card I made for the Chirstmas Extravaganza. The cute bow die on the top is by MB.

 Using pieces left over from the pages I then made a card. Ifg you get in the habit of this....you will always have cards on hand when you need them.

 I wiped out the golden floral paper between all my projects and had just one sheet left. so guess what? A page for sale.

We got the Best Ones

I had Caitlin make the wooden wall hanging for me to match my house.  I loved the saying.
Then made my boys stand by it for a photo. And since I was working on pages with this paper already for classes and my nieces photos....it worked. Anyone remember when these little guys used to both work at my Eleva store and at Picture This? They grow tooooooo fast!!

 Another page of my nieces wedding. I inked the tips of the sunflowers with ink to add dimension.

 My beautiful niece got married this last fall. So since those photos are on the top of my heap...I'll try to get them done right away. the day and weather was perfect.

 I used numerous dies to create the mono page.

Reindeer #3 3D

Last card from the same sheet and class. On this card I used the MFT banner and wonky stitched circle. And the holly is a CL die. See how much the dies add to your projects. I also did a class with reindeer in the multi layers as well. Throw on a diecut and ribbon...and poof!! Super easy card but still pretty.

Snowman Decloupauge #2

 This is the 2nd snowman off from same sheet as yesterdays post. So this sheet allowed you to make 2 cards.

 Sideways shot to see how many layers you build up. They are very thin pop dots to keep all the layers low for the mailman. He kinda fringes on bulky envelopes....unless you pay extra.

 This also was a card from the Christmas Extrav. Many never got posted on my blog yet. Once they hit the sales floor as samples....out of sight...out of mind. And sadly, some grow legs and walk out the door.
These are sheets with many layers and you build them up and put thin popdots between each layer. Very easy and very fun to do. I did this and tomorrows posting for a class last month.

Lattice with Oval

This die came in and I could so envision it with an ornament. I had made this for our Christmas Extravaganza. Very elegant. I used a MFT small bow die to finish the look. And the gold mirricard is also the perfect touch.

Taylored Expressions Shaker Card

 Taylored Expressions had their Stamp Joy Event this past October. I took one of my staff members along who also loves TE. The bottom card we got to make in the Retailers meeting. I took it to the next level and made a shaker card with it for a class I taught this last month. And I added a double bow using the Bow-It-All. We put a video on our Facebook page on how to create a shaker box. They are popular right now, so if you've never made one...check out the video to see how easy they are.

Bow-it-All demo

One of my new favorite toys is the Bow-it-All. Everyone knows I can make bows until the cows come home, but this takes your bows to the next level. Being able to do double and triple colors in a single bow is what got me hooked. Here's a quick video I did to show how easy it is to do. We do carry these for purchase at Picture This.

Cancer Crop 2015

 I had a fun surprise for all of the attendees at the 2015 crop. My oldest son bought a bear outfit he wears to Music Fests so I had him come for an hour and everyone got their pictures taken with the bear. Just another fun memory to scrapbook!!

Pileated Woodpecker

 I had never heard of this type nor seen until this was on our bird feeder one day. I about broke my neck trying to run up stairs and get my cell phone to take a photo before it flew away. I didn't think anyone would believe me when I said it was a woodpecker on steroids. 

                             Turns out it is a Pileated Woodpecker. I just never heard of it prior.

Cat Nap buddies

 I got a lot of pages done on the first day of the new year. All posted so far are from that day. What a productive day. And sticking with my resolution...another page for me =)  This is my Siamese Diablo with Mini Might. Dobs is around 18 years old so showing signs of his age but a very sweet cat. I love his baby blues.

red, white & blue pride

 I had made a mini album years ago for my grandma of little snippets of my home. She lived in IL so it was always us driving down to see her. It was nice for her to see pieces of my home. So this last 4th of July I did some snippets of my red, white and blue on display.

Flowers and Stars

 I liked the outline element in the page I posted yesterday so I also made a couple pages for sale with the same border. I just added some stars and flowers I had leftover from previous projects. Poof! A page.

Friends

                                                   Friends who are family....the best kind.

Here is a entire bouquet of the MFT Stitched flowers. I have a couple other flowers thrown in but the majority of them are the MFT. I saw this page sketch and always wanted to do it but obviously it required some time. So I created all day this past Sunday and decided it was time to make the time to create the page for myself.

Sooo Purrty

 Another page for me!! This is Mini again. She is a spoiled princess. She doesn't eat out of the bowls on the floor for the other cats....I have to feed her on top of the washer. Nor does she drink out of the water dishes for the others. Oh no. She has to be watered in the bathroom. Cats and their quirks. And if we forget to leave her glass full of water in the sink....she will knock the empty cup into the sink and keep clunking it around until we fill it. I always say....the princess is summonsing me. She's unique all right.

You'll notice the stripped paper is what is leftover from the Explore page I posted earlier this week. I am still on a mission to not have so many leftover parts laying around. Thankfully I can turn them into pages for sale and you all get to reap the rewards. Pretty pages.....less work!!! Everyone wins.

Here's another cute flower from the MFT stitched flower set. It just adds so much. I'd say stitching was one of the favs in 2016.
