Simple Version
Here is a more simple version from yesterdays post. I had extras cut since we always have sign ups at the last minute for classes. I didn't do the extra step with the gold leafing and just attached the stickers. Still very pretty but the extra things you do to your projects are what really set them apart.

Gold Leafing with Elizabeth Craft Design peel offs
Goodmorning! Hope everyone survived the holiday weekend and Black Friday craziness. I had both my boys home over Thanksgiving so I made the huge meal Thursday with all the trimmings. (Ryan...the college student....had the entire cherry pie at all by himself within 48 hours!)
This card was one from a class I taught last Monday and I think all the gals loved learning how to do this. Usually I have used the Dreamweavers embossing paste as my base for Gold Leafing. But I tried something and it actually worked so I shared. I covered a small piece of cardstock with a glue pen and let it dry some. Then covered the entire area with gold leafing and burnished the excess off. Then applied the Elizabeth Craft Design leaf sticker over the top and trimmed around the leaf. I was very happy with the results and will be using this method again.
Gold Mirricard was placed behind and 3 Candi's dots at the bottom right.
Supplies: gold leafing sheets, ECD peel offs, Candi, Gold Mirricard, CS, Rememisce paper.

Two for One
Today I am showing you how I took one 12x12 paper and turned it into 2 cards with very little effort. I only added the stamped vertical Merry Christmas to one card. the rest is all just letting the paper do the work. And there was enough left to also put some on the inside of one as well. Create smarter.....not harder.

Winter Houses
This card was featured during our Extravaganza and so the paper may very well be sold out but there are several house designs this year to substitute a different one. I added the Flower Soft and a white snowflake brad. The swirl embossing is a Tim Holtz embossing set and on the inside you can see a pine border by Martha Stewart.

Merry & Bright
Goodmorning. This was from a quad paper where you get a pattern on one side but on the other there are 4 6x6 squares with each a different pattern. It enabled me to make a card with several patterns without having to use 3-4 pieces of paper.
Supplies: WeRMemories paper, Just Rites, Spellbinders dies, Bakers Twine, Candi dots, CS and pop dot.

Possitive and Negative
Here both the possitive and negative of the snowflake are being used so there is no waste. The Sizzix flake die was used along with Twinery Bakers Twine and Tim Holtz distressing ink.

3 Layers
I choose a paper that had a repeat pattern and then cut it out 3 times using smaller Nestabilites each time. I like the effect but would not recommend for mass card producing. lol
Supplies: Karen Foster paper, Spellbinders dies and Edgabilities die, Embossing folder, pop dots.

Happy Holidays
This is the first I have used the Tim Holtz rosettes and I love them. They are easier then you think to work with. I also featured one on the free make-n-take card this past Thursday so everyone who joined us could also see how easy they are.

Matchbook Peppermints
Here is a cute little gift idea. Pick any double sided cardstock and cut to matchbook size. I used a gluedot to attach the peppermint to the inside and embellished the front.

Fab 5 ~ Day Five
Happy Friday. Hasn't the week just flown? We hope you enjoyed another weeks worth of inspiration. Be sure to tell the girls if you got ideas as they all put a lot of their own time into all the hard work.
Today we featured Flower Soft. I let the paper do all the work again and then added a Cheery Lynn sleigh die and the Flower Soft. Very easy.
Be sure to stop on out this weekend as we will be having Widow Weekend specials, STM, All Day Crop and Saturday is also Small Business Day.

Fab 5 ~ Day Four
Welcome to day four....today we all are featuring 3D projects. We have such a huge selection of gorgeous papers at Picture This....that we aren't just a scrapbooking and rubber stamping store....we truely are your destination for inspiration. I took just a tablet and put patterned paper on the inside and outside of the covers and then used the Just Rites to spell out 'Holiday Planner'. I also decorated a plain white pilar candle using the Elizabeth Craft Design products. (check out the class board...we are fortunate again to have Elaine coming up to teach another of her wonderful classes on the 29th)
Supplies: Reminisce paper, Elizabeth Craft Design poinsettia sticker and glitters, Just Rite stamps, Spellbinders Poinsetta die, Candi dots, red mesh.

Fab 5 ~ Day Three
Welcome to day three...are your creative juices flowing with all the inspiration? We hope so. Today we are featuring Susan Louis acetates. She is a local artist from down by Madison. I love when I can bring local companies into the store and we have quite a few. Her beautiful artwork is put on acetate and then you use it on your projects. Very easy. I will be doing a class Nov. 29th and this will be one of the 3 cards you will get to create in class.
Supplies: Susan Louis acetates, Spellbinders, Candi, owl embossing folder, CS.

Fab 5 ~ Day Two
Welcome to day two....today we are featuring Spellbinders. I used the tree die, circle and scalloped circle dies to create this fun card along with their tag one for the slot for the spinner to spin back and forth in. The paper already had the beautiful glitter swirls on it so that saved me a step. Don't you just love all the choices of papers out there today? We have over 6000 differnet patterns to choose from on any given day. Fun!!
The trees were created by cutting extras and folding down the middle and glueing to each other to get the 3D look. We have a huge selection of Spellbinders for your creative needs too.
Supplies: Spellbinders dies, Copic markers, white applique, Best Creation glitter paper, metallic cardstock.

Fab 5 ~ Day One
Welcome back to another week of Fab 5. We are your destination for inspiration!!! Today we all will be
featuring "Judith" stamps. I chose to use the newest birdhouse and chickadee stamps. I stamped one on the envelope as well to coordinate it. I went with a A6 size verses the standard A2.
Supplies: Stamps by Judith, Copic markers, CS Tim Holtz distressing ink around the edge.
Be sure to hop on over to the other Fab 5 gals blogs to get more ideas and follow us all week long. Tomorrow we will feature Spellbinders. Paula is even joining us for Fab 5 from Georgia =)

Got Snow?
You can't see in the photo very well but I inked one side of the embossing folder with a light pink
ink so when it embossed....it pushed the ink into the design. Looks cool in person. I used a glimmery
background paper and added some bling. Loving the Candi legless brads.

And sharing the joy is exactly what we did today at our Busy Elves Extravaganza. I personally thank everyone who attended. We ended up with 75 projects displayed that were kept top secret til today. Everyone had a lot of fun. So now you will see lots of holiday ideas in the store an uploaded to our blogs over the next few weeks. Don't forget Monday starts the next Fab 5!!!
This card was done using Copics, My Favorite Things Fred the Bear stamp, Spellbinders and MS border punch. It was one of many featured at todays event.

Halloween 2011
Just getting around to posting little Lucy's 1st Halloween photo. None of my other cats have one but since Lucy is black......it seemed fitting. She is still my little blessing. She is helping fill that hole left by losing grandma. She's a spitfire....always on the move. She keeps Diablo and Shadow on their toes (paws). lol

Busy Bee
Here is a page that hit the Picture This floor as a Page Kit over the weekend. I had the girls cut the title and bees on our Pazzle diecutting machine and embossed the matting and poof!! Super cute page. Supplies are limited since it wiped out the remaining paper so get yours before they are gone.
Same sketch ~ Colors impact
I worked on a page kit over the weekend as well. The green/coral one will hit the floor today. But I liked how it turned out so I picked a different set of colors so I can have samples of each together so when I am explaining the power of color....I will have something to show. I personally like the blue colors better.
Happy Anniversary
This is a quick sample I made over the weekend. The paper comes all glittery (Best Creations) so I just added some shimmer ribbon between 2 birds and the sentiment. Let the paper do the work for you when you need a card quick.
