                              Zeek went off to his forever home last Tuesday. Yay Zeekers!!

Our new kitty is Cam. He is a big boy just like Zeek was so be sure to stop out to see this guy. He is VERY affectionate. He loves attentions.

Pretty Posies

 This was another fun card from the other nights class. The embossing folder that cuts and embosses was a huge hit. The flowers are a Cheery Lynn strip again. They keep making it easier and easier for us to create gorgeous cards with little effort.

 I just used a tweezers to hold the petals to crimp each one. Then distressed the edges with ink.

Here is another version with another folder and different colored metallic cardstock. Changes the
entire look doesn't it? Color always has a huge impact on your pages and cards.

Thinking of You

                                Anoher card from this weeks class. I love olives and deep purples together. I had done a color class and this is yet another color combo my gals can add to their swatch books I got them started on. The papers are all metalic so it is prettier in person. The flower is a strip die by Cheery Lynn. Still loving my dies. I am breaking down though and buying a Vaga Bond to give my
poor wrists a break. We do a lot of cuttlebugging here and its time to get an electrical one.

                                              The flower was added to the inside as well.

    And this card was made using the leftover pieces after everything was cut for class. This flower is the Rose Creation by Spellbinders and the butterfly is a Cheery Lynn die. All metallic papers again.

Nature

Hi. Bet you thought I dropped off the face of the earth?  Just been busy between the store and retreat and we have had a lot of events at the store lately. Still not all up to speed on the newer computer either. I hate change.

This was last nights class so I figure if I post them right away then I will be safe. I have 2 months worth I have missed posting already. sigh

The Tim Holtz emobssing folder was used for the background. Then the Spellbinders Cherry blossom for the twig and Cheery Lynn Build  a flower for the yellow flower.
