Big Cats
Here kitty kitty. These are the most beautiful animal in the world to me. We got to the fair early so the big cats were loose in their round cage to exercise a bit. The one with the tire was being playful. We asked lots of questions and I hopfully have most of their names correct for when I scrapbook my photos. All the big cats were female but for one. Two were sisters.
Tigers
More photos from the Fair. Aren't they just precious? Bottom is my friend LeAnn C. who also went along for the fun.
Camel
This famous camel was at the fair too. This one has been in the movies "Ace Ventura" and also in "Spy Kids 2".

Tomah Tiger Cubs
I finally got to feed my tiger-touch-withdrawl today with lots of hands on!! Anyone that knows me knows I have this major desire to touch tigers......and I have not for about 3 years. So I was long overdue. My lil sis texted me yesterday that they had tigers at the Tomah Fair so I grabbed a friend and we made the jaunt there today and got lots and lots of lovings and photos. I will share more when I get back to the store. It is way easier to load photos from the computer I use at the store for the blog.
These tiger cubs are 6 and 7 weeks old.....one boy and one girl. On the top photo you can see a Bengal kitty too. There will be better photos coming. I can hardly wait to get them all developed and scrapbook them!!
Yeah, I could have stayed and played all day.

Everyday
I squeezed in a few minutes Wednesday to make a couple pages for sale. My workbench to-do pile is getting tad out of control so I tackled a couple sheets of paper.

Heartfelt Thanks
This was my favorite I think from my Mondays class. We have showed you these butterflies many times and we always work old in with new here so remember to use what you have as well. Get the most out of your tools. This card utilized the butterfly. hydrangea, and twig punch all by MS. We have shown many times and most people now have them. The only new thing introduced was the cool banner die by My Favorite Things.
Don't forget to come see us at Action city tonight for the Pickle and Ice Cream social. We will have a scrappage make-n-take and 100% of the proceeds from the mnt go towards this fundraiser.
Hope to see you there!!!

In memory of Grandma
Yesterday would have been my gma's birthday and I have wanted to do something in memory of her. She loved her flower beds. And would always give me slips of everything. I can remember when she gave me some of her chicken and hens (aka Hen & Chicks) I was so afraid they'd die and I wouldn't have that piece of her when she was gone. So I planted them all over. And they all survied....and multiplied. Tomorrow I will be bringing a bunch to the store to give out to our wonderful customers so I can spread a little of gma's love.
Chloe Stem
This was a simple but elegant card from my class I taught Monday. The die is by Memory Box. I just spoke to Dave and asked if they are getting caught back up on their orders? They are now out to about 2-3 weeks from order time.
The pearls on the front were custom colored using my Copics.

In Sympathy
This card was fun because I used vellum for the flower dies. Remember when I took all my dies home and made a bunch of flowers? This one finally made it on a card. All the flower dies and mini flourish die are Cheery Lynn and the paper is Basic Grey.

Two hearts
Goodmorning. Getting settled back in after a week away at CHA. But I have to teach 2 classes this week and we will be doing make-n-takes at the Pickles & Ice Cream Social.....so there will be no time to settle the dust this week.
This card is using the Cheery Lynn heart dies, a fern one and then a Spellbinders die. Dies are HOT right now. I picked up a few new lines at show along with new stamp lines and lots and lots and lots of new. It is always so fun after show when things start to arrive. We have you spoiled here at Picture This though since we have new arriving all the time, all year long.

Chicago ~ CHA
The Chicago skyline from our hotel. And the awesome Medleys we have at Picture This by McRice....
meet Ron and Nanc. We hung out with them Friday in their room for a bit. We had cut some state shapes with out Pazzle for them out of their new papers for their booth at Craft Mania. The 'cheese' paper is going to be sooo much fun for Wisconsin diecuts, pages and designs. There is one with a moose and its baby twins....Ron took that photo in Alaska. And all of their products are made in the USA. I love being able to offer so many vendors in my store that I can say that for.
Summer CHA ~ Chicago
Hello! It is hot and humid here in Chicago today. Dawn and I sat through hours of presentations, speakers and round table discussions Sat. & Sun. I got to finally met Haley from Crop Stop. (top) She is the owner of the cool new embossing folders I have recently been getting in at Picture This. (the limited edition ones)
The HoHo Christmas line is fun so just remember when it arrives....get it before it is gone.
Then met Jillian and her parents. She started her own stamp line at age of 10 !!! She is now 13 and has over 80 sets and some exclusive Spellbinders dies. So I welcomed them as a new vendor to my store and I know you will like her designs. Cool story.. cool kid.
We seen ALL the new releases from 36 vendors yesterday so our heads are swimming with all that. Lots of very neat releases. It will be hard to limit my purchases. Wouldn't an unlimited budget be the cats meow?
We went to Creative Imaginations and Quick Quotes showing today off-site and more must haves. Dawn talked me into mixed media necklaces to do as a class at the store. Tonight we have the Moxxie Party.
So we will try to keep you all posted on the new and cool.

Alcohol Ink Cross
Here are the cards I created for todays make-n-take. Some of the gals got to play with the alcohol inks on the step-it-up version. The top card I used one of the new corner dies from Cheery Lynn in the same color and love the results. There are 5 different styles of crosses in this Spellbinders set.

You brighten my day
Good afternoon!! Crunch time is here getting ready to leave for CHA. But I have 3 cards to post for you from last nights class. I had a card virgin and she loved the projects and had to buy a Cuttlebug following class to start the fun journey of endless creating. We had a lot of fun.
For this card we used the Sweet William die and one of their small flower dies to create the beautiful flower. The corner design is one of the new ones from Cheery Lynn. I can hardly wait to see what they release for new dies at the trade show. The stamp is a Great Impressions stamp.

Christmas doily
Last card from the Christmas class and then I can move onto something summery again. I have mentioned it many times that I love the poinsettia die and if you do not own one yet...I recommend it. I use it a lot. And we did a make-n-take here at Picture This once too showing the gals how to turn it into a flower for the rest of the year too.
The doily is a Cheery Lynn and I used the metal plate for this since it has a lot of detail....then you just flick your finger against it and most of the pieces fall out into your garbage. The edges were inked on the twig, doily and banner with Tea Dye ink.
Supplies: Cheery Lynn doily, Spellbinders poinsettia, MS twig punch, Kaiser Kraft pearls, Tea Dye and Festive Berry Distress inks, Judith stamp, CS.

Lattice tree
Another card from class........and I love the lattice. I have used it on several cards already and I have a neat idea for a page ...if I ever get time to create it. I used the negative part of the tree on the inside of the card so nothing goes to waste. (or lays around forever waiting to be added to another project!) lol.
I use the metal plate shim (cuttlehug) when using the lattice and any of the dies with a lot of detail or are larger in size. It makes the removal of the pieces easier and the cuts crisper. It does crank through your Cuttlebug harder so don't be alarmed and you will hear your plates crackle. No worries.
Window Delight
Goodmorning. Happy 4th and I am posting Christmas....Christmas in July. We have been doing the monthly xmas classes at PT for our customers so they would be done with their cards by time the season got hectic. Every month is new cards so be sure to check out the classes offered each month.
We also just started the PT Shoppe too for all of our blog followers who don't have the great opportunity of just running to the store to buy the needed supplies when they see an idea they love. (they know we are just a phone call away and ship out all the time) But we started the Shoppe so others know of this awesome service too. I just posted all the supplies for this card today over on the PT Shoppe.
Supplies: Tim Holtz Alternations Base, Mini Reindeer & Tree, Brick & Woodgrain embossing folder. Spellbinders Poinsettia die, Cheery Lynn Window C die and Metallic CS and text weight.
